Job summary

Provision Resource is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a client based in Lichfield. This role offers 12-hour shifts with afternoon starts, including the option to tramp in the yard and access to on-site facilities.

You'll carry out store deliveries using a PPT, with self-loading/unloading and full PPT induction training. PAYE rates include Day £17.76/hour, Night £19.59/hour, and Night-Out £26.20 per night out.

Qualifications

• A valid full UK driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A minimum of 18 months' HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Previous fridge experience - essential.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries using a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck).
• Self-loading and unloading, with possible assistance.
• 12-hour shifts with afternoon starts; start times to be confirmed.
• Tramping in the yard is an option.
• Shifts start and finish in Lichfield; work out of Avonmouth, Peterborough or Exeter depots.

Job description

Provision Resource is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Drivers for our client based in Lichfield.

This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay and the option to tramp in the yard, with access to on-site facilities.

What the job involves:

• Store deliveries using a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck).
• All deliveries involve self-loading and unloading, although assistance may be available.
• Full PPT training will be provided during your induction.
• £26.20 night-out allowance for each night out.
• Access to on-site showers and canteen facilities.
• Option to tramp in the yard.
• 12-hour shifts, with start times to be confirmed. Afternoon starts are expected.

Drivers will be working out of the client's Avonmouth, Peterborough or Exeter depots, but all shifts will start and finish in Lichfield.

Pay Rates - PAYE Only

• Day Rate: £17.76 per hour for shifts starting between 04:00 and 12:00.
• Night Rate: £19.59 per hour for shifts starting between 12:00 and 03:00.
• Night-Out Allowance: £26.20 per night out.
• Holiday Pay: Can be paid on top of the hourly rate.

Requirements
