Job summary

Peel Recruitment & Training Solutions Ltd. is seeking skilled Class 1 drivers to support a major logistics operation in Lichfield. Flexible shifts available 1–5 per week, with weekly pay and holiday pay on top.

Shifts feature days (£17.76 ph) or nights (£19.59 ph) and include an umbrella option on request. Start windows run from 23:00 to 09:00 for multi-drop refrigerated runs.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E (Class 1) licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Minimum 18 months Class 1 experience is required.
• Maximum of 6 points; DR10/IN10 not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop runs using refrigerated trailers delivering to RDCs.
• Start windows from 23:00 through to 09:00.

Job description

We’re currently recruiting skilled Class 1 drivers to support a major logistics operation in the Lichfield area. This role is perfect for drivers who want to pick up extra shifts without committing to a full‑time rota.

PAYE rates per shift

• DAYS: £17.76 ph
• NIGHTS: £19.59ph
• Holiday pay available on top / umbrella option on request
• Flexible schedule – choose 1 to 5 shifts per week
• Weekend shifts available (24/7 operation)
• Weekly pay

Job Details

• Multi-drop runs using refrigerated trailers delivering to RDC's.
• Start windows from 23:00 through to 09:00

Driver Requirements

• Full UK C+E (Class 1) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 18 months Class 1 experience
• Maximum of 6 points (no DR10 / IN10)
• Experience with fridge units preferred but not essential
