Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver in Swindon. You will transport mail between Royal Mail depots, work across morning, evening and weekend shifts, and perform daily safety checks on the vehicle.

Earn £21.99–£25.12 per hour with weekly PAYE pay, holiday pay, and pension. On-site parking and canteen facilities are available at most depots, with ongoing support from the Pertemps team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence (Category CE) held for at least 12 months is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card are mandatory.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• DBS and basic vetting checks will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Follow planned routes with minimal loading/unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
