Job summary

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading logistics operation in Coatbridge. This full-time role offers days, 48 hours per week, and a competitive salary.

The successful candidate will deliver goods safely across trunking, RDC deliveries and depot-to-depot movements. You will conduct pre-shift checks, complete documentation, and maintain high safety, accuracy and customer service standards while working independently on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
• No major endorsements or driving bans.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.
• Ensure all transport documents are completed accurately.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies.
• Secure loads correctly and carry out load safety checks.
• Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers and site personnel.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness standards.
• Follow all health and and safety procedures at customer and depot locations.
