Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver in Bristol to transport mail between depots and follow planned routes with minimal loading. Shifts include morning, evening and weekends, with vehicle safety checks performed before each shift.

Earn between £21.44 and £24.57 per hour via PAYE with guaranteed daily hours, holiday pay, and pension. Regular depots offer on-site parking and canteen facilities, supporting ongoing work with Pertemps team assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks
• Driving licence showing your current address

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift
