Hirecracker is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a depot-based team in Shaftesbury. This permanent, full-time role is 48 hours per week plus overtime, with a basic salary of £49,228 plus overtime.

Ex-military candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers, delivering hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and supporting loaders while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card, and ADR licence.
• Experience with road tankers and vacuum tankers is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers.
• Collect and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Support loaders when vehicle is stationary and manage routes to meet deadlines.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with driving hours and safety regulations.
