Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for regular night trunking work in Caistor. Monday to Friday shifts offer a competitive hourly rate and a straightforward night schedule.

You will join a team focusing on safety, reliability and professional conduct for depot-to-depot deliveries. The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and a tachograph card, with prior Class 1 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete night trunking runs between designated locations.
• Safely transport goods between depots.
• Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate driving hours and tachograph records.
• Comply with road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for regular night work, great trunking opportunities and flexibility? We have an exciting opportunity for professional and reliable drivers to join our team, with both ongoing and ad-hoc shifts available!

We’re recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for night trunking work based in Caistor, offering Monday to Friday shifts at a competitive rate of £17.23 per hour.

• Completing night trunking runs between designated locations.
• Safely transporting goods between depots.
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate driving hours and tachograph records.
• Ensuring compliance with all road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Representing the company professionally at all times.

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £17.32 an hour. You will accrue up to 28 days holiday a year.Please note we do not offer sponsorship.

Working Hours: You will work Monday to Friday trunking at night

Experience & Qualifications

You will need:
