Job summary

Mobile People Powered Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Haddenham, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. You will drive safely from Haddenham to Birmingham and back, transporting goods from our Pallet hub to our depot, and ensure compliance with regulations.

We offer 28 days holiday, uniform after probation, company pension and above-average pay, with weekend overtime subject to availability.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence and CPC qualification required.
• Tacho card and knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Excellent driving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently from Haddenham to Birmingham and return.
• Transport goods from our Pallet hub to our depot (18 hrs - 4 am).
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and report any defects.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Mobile People.Powered.Logistics is a multi-award winning road transport company based in Haddenham and Birmingham. The company is one of the largest Network Distribution businesses in Buckinghamshire and the Midlands and has continued to grow year on year even during the current crisis.

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Mobile People Powered Logistics in Haddenham, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. As a vital member of the logistics and transport industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently from Haddenham to Birmingham and return
• Transport goods from our Pallet hub to our depot (18 hrs - 4 am)
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
• Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and report any defects

Required Qualifications:

Benefits:

• 28 days paid holiday incl. Statutory Days
• 50 hrs basic including breaks then overtime rate applies
• Guaranteed minimum of pay of 46.25 hours per week @ 17.88 per hour / Overtime 18.88 per hour
