Job summary

Mobile People Powered Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team in Haddenham, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. You will drive efficiently between Haddenham, Birmingham, and back, handling pallet hub transports and maintaining accurate delivery records.

The role requires an HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, and a Tacho card, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and communication. Competitive pay and weekend overtime are included.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required.
• CPC qualification required.
• Tacho card holders preferred.
• Strong driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely from Haddenham to Birmingham and return.
• Transport goods from pallet hub to depot (18 hrs - 4 am).
• Adhere to regulations and legislation.
• Maintain records of deliveries and collections.
• Ensure vehicle is well maintained and report defects.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Mobile People.Powered.Logistics is a multi-award winning road transport company based in Haddenham and Birmingham. The company is one of the largest Network Distribution businesses in Buckinghamshire and the Midlands and has continued to grow year on year even during the current crisis.

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Mobile People Powered Logistics in Haddenham, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. As a vital member of the logistics and transport industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently from Haddenham to Birmingham and return
• Transport goods from our Pallet hub to our depot (18 hrs - 4 am)
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
• Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and report any defects
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Required Qualifications:

• HGV Class 1 licence
• CPC qualification
• Tacho card
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits:

• 28 days paid holiday incl. Statutory Days
• 50 hrs basic including breaks then overtime rate applies
• Guaranteed minimum of pay of 46.25 hours per week @ 17.88 per hour / Overtime 18.88 per hour
