Job summary

Aligra is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for night shift multidrop curtainside deliveries across Reading, Swindon and Slough. This role offers stability, strong earnings and immediate starts for a professional operation with a trusted client.

You'll operate safe, compliant night runs, load/unload pallets with tail lifts, and maintain accurate delivery records while delivering excellent customer service in a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with Driver CPC.
• Proven experience with multidrop curtainside deliveries, pallet handling and tail lift operation.
• Knowledge of Reading, Swindon and Slough areas is advantageous.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles on night multidrop deliveries.
• Load and unload pallets using tail lifts, with careful handling of goods.
• Complete 2-3 delivery runs per shift and maintain punctuality and customer service standards.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Keep accurate delivery documentation and communicate with the transport team.
• Adhere to health and safety, driving regulations and company policies.
