Job summary

Culina's Chilled & Fresh division in the UK invites LGV Class 1 drivers to join a structured, permanent distribution operation based in Evesham. This full-time role features a 4 on 4 off day shift, with average 11-hour shifts and opportunities for extra shifts to boost earnings.

As part of our New Pass Programme, you will be supported with a dedicated development plan and buddy system to help you safely start and progress your driving career.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV Class 1 Licence and CPC.
• Knowledge of the Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours.
• Excellent communication and pressure-management skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out chilled distribution deliveries to main retail RDCs nationwide
• Delivering to key customer sites including major UK retailers
• Completing self-tip deliveries where required, including breaking down pallets at certain sites.
• Collecting equipment or returns from customer locations and bringing them back to site.
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
