Job summary

Evri in Enfield is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver - Bulk to join our premier parcel delivery network. You will operate a modern Volvo fleet, enjoy 9-hour shifts, and a 45-hour week, with a London weighting allowance of £1,500 per year. Expect a structured schedule and consistent home time after shifts.

You will be responsible for safe driving, inspecting vehicles, loading/unloading, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. Join a leading national carrier with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification card.
• Completed required DCPC training hours or working towards them.
• Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lorry from our fleet of Volvo vehicles.
• Work on 9-hour shifts, with 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed and drive pallets/trucks where required.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily and complete a Defect Report if necessary.
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers and plan routes efficiently.
