Job summary

Hatfield-based Royal Mail role for an HGV Class 1 Driver. Earn £24.62–£27.75 per hour with shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends. This temporary/ongoing position offers depot-to-depot driving, regular hours, and on-site facilities.

DBS and vetting checks may be required as part of the recruitment process. Role involves routine vehicle safety checks and adherence to planned routes while transporting mail between depots, with minimal loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.
• Driving licence showing your current address.
