Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for day shifts in Gloucester. The role offers a temp-to-perm pathway with a weekday schedule and starting times between 07:00 and 10:00, for a well-established national transport operation.

Expect paid hours and a weekly or monthly pay cycle, with benefits including a company pension, sickness cover, uniform and PPE, and opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements.
• Take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Shifts starting between 07:00 - 10:00.
• Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles.
• Minimal handballing required.
• Distance runs available.
• Tail lift, Pallet Truck, Mostly Forklift or trailer swaps.
