Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for roles based in Cheltenham. The position offers day shifts, regular start times, and the potential for long-term placement with ongoing and flexible cover to meet peak demand.

Earn £17.00–£19.00 per hour with holiday pay; weekly pay options available. A CPC digit tachograph and double deck trailer experience are preferred, along with a professional, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 minor penalty points.
• Proven experience with double deck trailers.
• Professional, positive “can-do” attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Day shifts with regular start times.
• Pallet drops and some collections.
• Working with double decker trailers; some experience required.
• A mix of ongoing and flexible cover work (holidays, sickness, peak demand).
