Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for day shifts in Gloucester. The role offers a temp-to-perm pathway with a weekday schedule and starting times between 07:00 and 10:00, for a well-established national transport operation.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.

• Take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy vehicle.

Full Time HGV Class 1 Driver (Days) - Gloucester, paying £16.00ph all hours paid, Monday to Friday, starting between 07:00 to 10:00, temp-to-perm opportunity for the right driver, New Pass Drivers Welcome!

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers in Gloucester. This is a full-time position, with work available Monday to Friday ongoing for a well-established national and recognised transport operation.

The Role

• Shifts starting between 07:00 - 10:00
• Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles
• Minimal handballing required
• Distance runs available
• Tail lift, Pallet Truck, Mostly Forklift or trailer swaps

Requirements

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Be over 21 years of age (insurance purposes)
• Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements
• Have a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
• Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
• Successfully complete company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test
