Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Tilbury, Essex. You will undertake nationwide deliveries and trunking with fixed shift patterns and ad hoc work.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of HGV driving experience, a Digi card and DCPC, and no more than 6 points on their licence. Earn £20.70–£24.65 per hour with free on-site parking.

• Digi card and DCPC are required.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide deliveries and collections for customers.
• Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role).

Your Time at Work

As an HGV 1 Driver your duties include:

• Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers
• Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will ideally have:

• 6 months of HGV driving experience
