Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for adhoc general haulage work in New Mills. The role offers days, nights, weekly pay and flexible shifts to suit your availability.

Drivers must hold a Category C+E / HGV Class 1 license, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card, with right to work in the UK. Competitive PAYE rates and overtime opportunities are available across regular and occasional tramping work.

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Right to work in the UK.

• Reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• General haulage, including outbound and inbound loads.
• Trailer swaps and shunting.
• Moving palletised goods using curtain-side trailers.
• Organising trailers around yards and depots.
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently.
