Job summary

TRCGroup, on behalf of our client in Abergele, is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Ongoing full-time or part-time roles with flexible shift patterns across Monday to Sunday.

Start times between 12:00 and 21:00, with competitive pay rates and overtime. You will load/unload, deliver to hubs, and travel to local sites as needed. Full UK licence and DCPC required. Weekly pay, modern vehicles, and supportive operations team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C+E).
• At least 6 months proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Execute depot pull, filling the back of a trailer at the depot and transporting it to a hub.
• Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.
• Assist with loading and unloading at customer sites and in the depot.
• Perform drop and swap operations, sometimes using a tail lift, and occasionally doing trailer swaps requiring uncoupling the vehicle.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
