Job summary

Culina is seeking professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the Washington-based Chilled & Fresh team, serving key UK retailers. This permanent, full-time role covers RDCs, Farms, and Packhouses with multiple shift patterns. Emphasis is on safe driving, reliable service, and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• We have a variety of roles including Night Outs, Trunking, Scotland Return Runs and local store deliveries.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres, Farms and Packhouses.
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
