Job summary

Driving Force Recruitment are seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth (BS11). The job involves distributing to RDCs across the UK and requires CPC and tachograph training with a minimum of 12 months HGV1 experience.

You must have a good level of English and hold an English driving license for at least 6 months, with no DR10 or MS90 on your license. Shifts are 5 out of 7 with multiple start times (15:00-18:00, 19:00-23:00, 00:00-05:00).

Qualifications

• CPC and Digital Tachograph training is required.
• Minimum 12 months experience driving HGV1.
• Good level of English communication; English driving license held for at least 6 months; no DR10 or MS90 on the license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects to the transport office.
• Maintain records of deliveries and other paperwork in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and health & safety regulations.
