HGV Class 1 Driver – Flexible Afternoons/Nights, Good Pay

Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with afternoons and night starts, and occasional day shifts.

Pay £17.79 per hour PAYE (6am–10pm) and £18.79 per hour PAYE (10pm–6am). Location: Birmingham, B76. Role is ad-hoc / temp / ongoing and involves trunking to the hub.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence; minor offences only.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation and driving assessment if required.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.

• Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
