Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver for early morning starts in Birmingham. Responsible for local deliveries to retail stores, with loading/unloading support as needed.

You will operate under health and safety standards and driving regulations, ensuring timely, safe deliveries. Salary includes £18.50 per hour on weekdays, overtime and weekend rates at £26.25 per hour, weekly pay and standard benefits such as 28 days leave and pension

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required for insurance purposes.
• C+E (Class 1) licence is essential.
• CPC certification and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable of assisting with unloading if required.
• Reliable and punctual.

Pay Rates - C+E Licence Required

Monday to Friday - £18.50 per hour

Daily Overtime (After 9 hours) - £26.25 per hour

Weekends and Bank Holidays - £26.25 per hour

Weekly pay (PAYE)
