Job Description:

Logical Personnel Solutions are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Doncaster. Our client is a national clothing retail distributor for two of the world's biggest clothing brands, distributing palletised goods to RDCs across the UK. We are looking for a HGV CLASS 1 driver in Doncaster to work as day or night trunkers. You must be able to work various shift patterns with weekend shifts included if preferred. Long-term positions are available.

All candidates must have a full valid HGV CLASS 1 licence, CPC, Digi card. All candidates will be inducted prior to their first shift.

Successful candidates will work on a long-term basis if the job is performed correctly and all health and safety procedures are followed.

Job Role and Duties:

• Trunking runs to various RDCs across the UK, completing 1/2 full load deliveries per shift.
• Carry out POD and delivery note procedures.
• Maintain regular communication with transport.
• Work maximum legal hours per week.

Working Days/Hours:

Any shift pattern during the week (mainly Monday-Friday with weekend shifts), adjustable to your preference. Start times vary between 03:00-07:00 (average 04:00). Average shift length: 8-10 hours.

Pay Rates: Due to IR35, our client is not accepting new Ltd Company Drivers; rates are based on PAYE:

• Basic Days: £10.87
• Saturday Day shift: £11.87
• Sunday Day shift: £12.87
• Basic Nights: £12.50
• Saturday Night shift: £13.75
• Sunday Night shift: £14.50
