Job Description:

Taskmaster Resources LTD is currently looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to work on a full-time basis for our client based in Barnsley. We are seeking multiple drivers for permanent roles, with flexibility to work extra days over weekends during peak periods. Having a mofette license is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided on-site at a later date. Night shifts are available but optional. Start times can vary from 04:00 onwards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Manage flatbed loads securely, ensuring compliance with weight and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues with management promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.

Applicants must have the following:

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV/LGV entitlement.
• Minimum of 2 years Class 1 experience.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card).
• No more than 6 points on your license; endorsements such as DR, DD, IN, TT are not accepted.
• Full CPC certification.
• Polite and Pleasant demeanor.

Schedule & Salary:

• £16.00 per hour Mon - Sat (minimum 9-hour shifts)
• £20.00 per hour on Sundays (minimum 12-hour shifts)
• £20.00 for night shifts (starting from 11 AM)
• Schedule may include Sunday to Thursday with optional extra shifts
