Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring a HGV Class 1 Driver for our Peterborough depot. The role covers trunking and multi-drop deliveries on a Monday–Friday day shift, with weekly pay.

The position requires a C+E licence, DigiTacho, and CPC, plus prior Class 1 experience. Overtime is paid after 39 hours at time and a half, with benefits including on-site parking and well-being support.

Qualifications

• C+E licence, DigiTacho and CPC required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 18kg and handle manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects to keep the truck roadworthy.
• Ensure correct goods are loaded and secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely, legal manner.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork from customers before returning to the depot.

We are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Peterborough depot.

Shift Available:

Monday - Friday working on Days

Rate of pay:

£16.54 per hour. Paid weekly.

Any hours worked over 39 hours each week will be paid at time and a half.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported

• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)

• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot

What are we looking for?

• Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC

• Previous Class 1 driving experience

• Someone who can lift up to 18kg

• You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English
