Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for our Heywood/Heyrod area depot. The role involves night shifts on a Monday–Friday basis, with a start window around 15:00–19:00.

You will handle trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and daily vehicle checks while maintaining safety and compliance with working time regulations. Qualifications include a C+E licence, valid DigiTacho, and CPC, plus prior Class 1 experience.

Competenze

• C+E driving licence is required and valid DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• English communication is necessary to coordinate with the team and customers.

Mansioni

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries within legal driving time regulations.
• Check loads, secure goods, and obtain signatures and paperwork before leaving depot.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Interact with customers politely to ensure a smooth handover at delivery points.

To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Heywood depot.

Shift Available:

Monday - Friday working on Nights(Shift starts around 15:00-19:00)

Rate of pay:

£16.03 per hour for hours worked up to 39 hours each week. Plus £55.00 per week night shift allowance. Paid weekly.

Any hours worked over 39 hours each week, will be paid at time and a half.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)
• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot

What are we looking for?

• Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Someone who can lift up to 18kg
• You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English
