Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for day shifts in Biggleswade. You will perform deliveries and collections for our clients, using electronic POD and supporting loading/unloading tasks. Training will be provided for the required technologies.

Hours are 50 per week on a Monday to Friday days pattern, with start times around 04:00. A full UK C+E licence and up to 6 points on your licence are required.

Qualifications

• 12 months driving experience
• Full UK C+E licence
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
• Moffett licence would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• General driving duties, delivering and collecting to/from customer locations
• Delivering product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions and its customers
• Using electronic POD and up-to-date technology (training provided)

HGV Class 1 Driver (Days)

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Biggleswade. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf ofMenzies Distribution Solutions Limitedand its customers.

The Details:

• Salary: £46,811.32 Per Annum, £17.96 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Days
• Hours Per Week: 50 Hours Basic
• Start Times: 04:00 Variable +/- 1 hour
• Parking onsite available
• Monthly Pay

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
• Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading
• Handball and multidrop

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
• Moffett Licence would be an advantage
