Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Normanton, delivering and collecting on behalf of MDS and its customers. You will work Monday–Friday nights, with a salary around £44k per year and a 50-hour week on average.

We provide full training on new technology, a contributory pension, and various employee benefits. A full UK C+E licence and 12 months Class 1 experience are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E licence.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No disqualifications on licence.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.
• Excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• General driving duties, delivering and collecting for customers and MDS sites.
• Delivering product on behalf of MDS and its customers.
• Using electronic POD and related tech (training provided).
• Assisting with loading and unloading.

HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Normanton. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalfofMenzies Distribution Solutions Limitedand its customers.

What You Really Want To Know:

• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Nights
• Salary: £44,204.50 Per Annum, £17 Per Hour
• Start Times: Between 16:00 - 18:00
• Hours: 50 Hours Per Week Average

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
• Delivering product on behalf of MDS and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
• Excellent, driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
