Job summary

Driver Hire Doncaster is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a Temp to Perm position based in Doncaster. The role involves delivering and collecting goods safely, performing daily vehicle checks, and completing delivery paperwork accurately to ensure smooth operations. Shifts are 4 on 4 off or Monday to Friday with day shifts only and no nights.

Salary is £18.00 per hour. This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity with regular, long-term work and the chance to join a reputable

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience.
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Secure loads correctly and ensure goods are transported safely.
• Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks where required.
• Report any delays, vehicle defects, incidents or issues promptly.
