Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a busy logistics operation in Castle Donington. You can choose day or night shifts, with at least one weekend day in every pattern. Roles involve cage deliveries, tail lifts, and some physical work on site.

You will deliver to RDCs and retail stores across the region, perform vehicle checks, and ensure all duties comply with hours and transport rules. Competitive hourly rates apply.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 3 months of commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries to RDCs and retail stores
• Unloading store deliveries using cages and tail lifts
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Maintaining compliance with drivers' hours and transport legislation
