Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver in Derby for a long-term temporary role. You will deliver to RDCs and retail stores, with handling cages and tail lift operations, and you may work weekends.

Shifts start early, typical 04:00–09:00, with overtime after threshold. The role requires a minimum of three months' relevant driving experience, strong vehicle checks, and the ability to perform manual handling duties.

Qualifications

• You must have at least 3 months of commercial driving experience.
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification required.
• No DR10s, CD10s or IN10s and a maximum of 6 points on your licence.
• Manual handling duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and retail stores.
• Unloading using tail lift and cages.
• Vehicle checks and routine safety checks.
