Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for full-time ongoing work at Severn Beach, Bristol. This role covers day and night shifts with a structured pattern and potential flexibility.

You will handle curtain-sided trailers, palletised loads, and ensure safe deliveries of white goods and appliances. At start times typically 05:00–09:00 for days or 17:00–21:00/21:00–00:00 for nights; a weekly bonus scheme applies based on attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience; can be offered with less if booked onto training academy
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Max 6 points (no DD, DR, IN or TT)
• Experience with curtain-sided trailers and securing palletised loads
• Strong knowledge of UK driving laws and compliance
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Professional, reliable and safety‑minded attitude
• Able to commit to a long-term ongoing role

Responsibilities

• Delivering products including white goods and other appliances (non-palletised)
• Handling palletised loads with secure strapping
• Operate curtain-sided trailers and ensure loads are secured
• Maintain safe, efficient and compliant delivery performance
