Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver to work on trunking routes in York. You will perform daily vehicle checks, ensure safe deliveries, and maintain accurate paperwork in a fast-paced distribution network.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months commercial Class 1 experience.
• Driver CPC qualification (DCPC).
• Digital Tachograph Card valid.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.
