Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with our client in York. Join a well-established operation with consistent work, modern vehicles and immediate starts available.

As a professional driver you will trunk between depots, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time. You will need a valid UK Class 1 licence, DCPC, Digital Tachograph card and at least 12 months of Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 licence
• 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experience
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately
