Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a leading national logistics operation based in Lutterworth (LE17). We offer regular work, flexible shifts, immediate starts and excellent hourly rates.

Roles include UK-wide deliveries, RDC trunking and store deliveries with modern articulated Class 1 vehicles. Successful candidates will have a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus a minimum 6 months of relevant driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• No DR10 or IN10 endorsements.
• No more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• UK-wide deliveries and collections
• RDC trunking and store deliveries
• Driving modern articulated Class 1 vehicles
• One delivery and one collection on most routes
• Some routes require no handball, using an electric pallet truck
• Other routes involve unloading food products, reloading cages and trolleys
