Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to operate class 1 vehicles delivering Bio Recycling services to Thames Water sites and external locations. You will work as part of our team, ensuring safe operation and accurate logging of deliveries in the cake logging system.

The role is based in the Crossness area (East London) or Iver area (West London), on a 38.5 hour week with a rotating shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver essential for deliveries and plant movements.
• Loader licence holder would be beneficial.
• Experience in tipping lorries would be beneficial.
• Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vehicles and plant to deliver Bio Recycling services to Thames Water sites and external locations.
• Enter deliveries into the cake logging system as appropriate.

Skills

Class 1 HGV Driver experience

Loader licence beneficial

Knowledge of Transport Law & Road Act
