Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an HGV Driver to operate Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles and plant, delivering Bio Recycling services to Thames Water sites and external locations. You will ensure safe, efficient deliveries and log entries in the cake logging system as required.

The role is based at Crossness STW, Abbey Wood, offering a 38.5-hour week on rotating days with full training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.
• A front-end Loader licence holder would be beneficial.
• Experience in tipping lorries will be beneficial.
• Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
• A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.
• Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
• Have a working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vehicles and plants to deliver Bio Recycling services efficiently and profitably.
• Enter deliveries to the cake logging system as required.
• Safely operate vehicles at Thames Water sites and external locations.
• Collaborate with Thames Water colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery.

Skills

Class 1/Class 2 HGV driver experience
