Thames Water Ltd. is seeking an HGV Biosolids Driver to operate Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles, delivering Bio Recycling services to Thames Water sites and external locations.

The role requires a valid CPC, tachograph card, and clean licence with minimal penalty points. Training is provided, with a comprehensive benefits package and a 38.5-hour rotating week at Crossness STW, Abbey Wood.

Formación

• Experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.
• Front-end Loader licence would be beneficial.
• Experience tipping lorries is beneficial.
• Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on licence.
• Full driver CPC and a valid Tachograph card.

Descripción del empleo

As an HGV Driver, you will be required to drive and operate vehicles and plants to the greatest profitability and efficiency to deliver the Bio Recycling service within Thames Water sites and to external locations. To enter deliveries to the cake logging system as appropriate. Within this role, you will be safely operating vehicles associated with Bio Recycling services at Thames Water sites and external locations, working collaboratively with other Thames Water employees across our sites to aid the efficient delivery of Bio Recycling’s activities.

HGV Biosolids Driver Job Details

• 38.5 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern.
• This position is based in the Crossness STW, Abbey Wood site
• Full training and an excellent wider benefits package.

Salaries:

• Shifts between Monday to Sunday Days (4 on 4 off) - Class 1 - £38,842
• Shifts between Monday to Sunday Days (4 on 4 off) - Class 2 - £36,313

What should you bring to the role?

The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role are:

• Experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.
• A front-end Loader licence holder would be beneficial.
• Experience in tipping lorries will be beneficial.
• Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
• A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.
• Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
• Have a working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.
