Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for afternoon shifts in Sherburn in Elmet. Roles involve store work, approximately 3/4 drops per shift and 12-hour durations with 12:00–16:00 windows, including manual handling, cage unloading and tail lift operations.

Regular weekly wages are offered with competitive rates and ongoing shifts; full-time opportunities available. All applicants must have valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• UK HGV Class 1 licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Minimum 12 months experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.

Responsibilities

• Store work and deliveries.
• Approximately 3/4 drops per shift (about 12 hours per shift).
• Afternoons 12:00–16:00.
• Manual handling, cage unloading, tail lift operation.
