Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Poole (BH17) to work ad-hoc afternoon shifts. Shifts typically run 13:00–00:00 with 12-hour days. Pay rates vary by time: days £17.93/hr, nights £19.05/hr, weekends premium up to £23.53/hr, inclusive of holiday pay.

Requirements include a valid tachograph & CPC, 12 months Class 1 experience, and max 6 penalty points with no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements. We are an UK recruitment agency placing drivers with a major parcel network.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid tachograph & CPC.
• Have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks.
• Trunking work to depots and hubs.
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.
