Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client in Swindon. This role offers adhoc and weekend work with excellent pay, ongoing availability, and genuine opportunities for progression within the team.

You will drive C+E vehicles, use the RELAY app, and perform pre- and post-journey checks. You must have a UK Category C+E licence with CPC and Tachograph cards, 12 months’ experience, good English, and be able to load/unload when required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence.
• Minimum 12 months' experience driving C+E vehicles.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Use of RELAY app for job updates and communication.
• Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections.
• Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly.
• Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations.
• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers.
