Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience required.
• Must hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and DCPC & Tacho cards.

Responsibilities

• Driving ambient products without temperature checks.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs.

Our customer is a leading name in the HGV industry, equipped with the latest vehicles, providing top-tier HGV experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
• No more than 6 points on your license, no DD or DR convictions
• Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
• Understanding of Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Ability to perform vehicle safety checks and report defects
• Compliance with health and safety regulations on-site

Location:

Appleton, WA4 4TQ

Working Hours & Pay:

• Ad hoc – Temporary shifts available
• Saturday Days and Nights: £20.18 P/hr including holiday pay
• Sunday Days and Nights: £20.74 P/hr including holiday pay

Job Responsibilities:

• Driving ambient products, which do not require temperature checks
• Trunking: driving regular routes, including long-haul transportation between distribution hubs
• General haulage: transporting various goods
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting defects
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs
• Adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements
