Work on an Ad Hoc – Temporary basis at our Eddie Stobart Gadbrook depot.

Our customer is a major player in the HGV industry, equipped with the latest vehicles, providing top-tier HGV experience.

***Minimum of 6 Months HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required***

Location: Gadbrook, CW9 7WA

Working Hours:

• Ad Hoc – Temporary Shifts Available

Pay Rate:

• Saturday Days and Nights: £21.89 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
• Sunday Days and Nights: £23.71 P/hr Including Holiday Pay

About this role:

• Ambient work: Driving ambient products that do not require temperature checks.
• Trunking: Regular routes, including long-haul transportation between distribution hubs.
• Store Delivery: Transporting goods from distribution centers to stores.
• General haulage: Moving various types of goods between locations.
• Manual handling: Physically lifting, carrying, and moving goods during loading and unloading.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and paperwork in line with company policies and legal standards.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and health and safety regulations.

About You:

• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence with at least 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points; no DD or DR convictions.
• Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understanding of driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects properly.
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
