Warrens, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting experienced Class 1 drivers to support UK bakery logistics. You will carry out safe deliveries across the UK, complete vehicle checks, and handle loads with both single and double deck trailers.

The role offers flexible 4-hour start windows and opportunities for overtime and night premiums. The position requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, digital tachograph, and a professional, safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence required.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card required.
• Experience in HGV driving within chilled distribution advantageous.
• Ideally 12 months HGV Class 1 experience; exceptions considered.
• Good record keeping and safety-focused approach.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safely to customer premises across the UK.
• Collect and deliver to distribution centres and customer sites.
• Carry out vehicle checks and comply with all legal requirements.
• Secure loads and complete paperwork and electronic updates.
• Work with single and double deck trailers.
• Assist with self-tipping when needed.
• Represent Warrens and Culina Group professionally at sites.
• Maintain flexible start windows (4 hour) to meet business needs.

We’re recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our growing Rugby operation supporting some of the UK's leading bakery brands. Shift patterns available

• 5 on 3 off Days
• 5 on 3 off Nights

What you’ll be doing:

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• Collecting and delivering to distribution centres, cash and carry sites and customer locations
• Completing vehicle checks and following all legal and compliance requirements
• Securing loads and completing required paperwork and electronic updates
• Working with both single deck and double deck trailers
• Carrying self-tipping and loading-related activity where required
• Representing Warrens and Culina Group professionally at customer sites
• 4 hour start windows to ensure flexibilities to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Previous HGV driving experience within chilled distribution would be advantageous
• Ideally will need a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 experience. We will consider drivers with less experience
• Good record keeping including manual entries.
• A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
• Confidence working with varied delivery points, tight yards and customer site procedures
• Willingness to complete manual elements of the role, including self-tipping where needed
• A positive can-do attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service
• Ability to communicate with multiple teams via different interfaces
