Culina is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for our Contract Logistics team in Banbury, delivering palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres nationwide on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will work a 4 on/off shift pattern (06:00–18:00) with 34.5 to 46 hours per week. The advertised rate is £16.96 per hour, including a £1 per hour allowance, with overtime paid at £23.93 per hour.

Formación

• Valid C+E Licence.
• 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred; new pass drivers welcome.
• No more than 6 points on licence and no DD/DR convictions.
• Current DCPC and Tachograph cards.
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, with most deliveries completed as backdoor tip.
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and communicate delays promptly.
• Complete all paperwork and ensure PODs are signed and returned.
• Follow company rules, including health and safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Take responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.

Job Description

We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Contract Logistics team in Banbury, supporting deliveries for key customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time driving role with a 24/7 operation, delivering palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres nationwide.

• £15.96ph plus£1ph 4o4o Allowance & Overtime after contracted weekly hours paid at£23.93ph
• 4on4off Days, 06:00 - 18:00, 34.5/46 hours per week (some weeks you will only work 3 days and other weeks 4 days)

What you’ll be doing

• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and adhere to tachograph rules and regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedure and report defects correctly.
• Take responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a high standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for
