Job summary

Lockwood Group Ltd in the UK is seeking professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our team on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern. You will be responsible for general haulage, safe and timely delivery, and maintaining high customer service standards.

We offer a basic salary of £33,670 per annum, with nights out paid at rates, a graded driver performance bonus up to £2,400 per year, funded CPC training, and development opportunities including ADR and FLT licences, plus a modern fleet and on-site

Qualifications

Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
Valid CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph card.
Good understanding of Tachograph and WTD regulations.
Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused attitude.
Previous Class 1 experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

General haulage work.
Safe, timely and professional delivery of goods.
Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Accurate and clear communication with the Transport team.
Using the latest driver technology, including Electronic POD devices and electronic walkaround check systems.
