Job summary

Unipart at East Midlands Gateway is seeking a Delivery Driver to move products to sites safely and on time. You will follow procedures, handle enquiries, and report any delivery concerns with your site team.

The role includes pre- and post-journey vehicle checks, maintaining the cab, upholding tachograph rules, and delivering a high standard of customer service. 45 hours per week with pension and benefits.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required.
• HGVClass 1 experience preferred.
• Digital Tachograph knowledge required.
• Driver CPC holder.
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-use inspections of vehicles.
• Unload the vehicle, secure products and returns to minimise damage.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with tachograph regulations.
• Ensure paperwork is completed, signed and dated where applicable.
• Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness and follow defect procedures.
