Job summary

CML in Telford is seeking professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to support our Chilled operation and deliver to key UK retailers.

This is a permanent, full‑time role with a 3 on, 4 off night shift pattern. Start windows between 18:00 and 23:00 and 3 hour start windows to match volume. You will join a supportive transport team, prioritise safety and accuracy, and represent the business professionally on the road.

Qualifications

• Possession of LGV Class C+E Licence and valid DCPC.
• Minimum 6 months experience driving LGV.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training.
• Conscientious and reliable.
• Professional and approachable; strong communication.
• Ability to work efficiently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Able to prioritize workload and work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers' hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to key retail customers across the UK.

Shift patterns available

This role is a 3 on 4 off Night shift pattern working Friday, Saturday, Sunday (First shift starting Thursday Night!) Start Windows between 18:00 - 23:00 Our 3 on, 4 off shift pattern provides extended periods of rest, greater flexibility, and an outstanding work-life balance, making it ideal for those who value quality time outside of work. Due to the nature of the products being delivered, our drivers will have 3 hour start windows to ensure they are flexible depending on volume

Salary: £30256.34 basic with opportunity for OTE with shift and overtime allowance
