• Must have HGV Class 1 license and at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Demonstrate high customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loaded brake tests to VOSA standards.
• Deliver and collect customer vehicles as required.
• Maintain truck parking and adhere to Health and Safety.

Job description

Motus Commercials is the largest DAF Trucks Dealer Group in Europe and the largest Independent Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group in the UK. We are on the lookout for a fully skilled HGV Class 1 Driver. As our new Driver, you will join our friendly team at our Manchester dealership which will see you working:

4 on 4 off shifts to be discussed at interview

As a HGV Driver at Motus Commercials in Manchester, we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:

1. Experience HGV Class 1 Essential
2. Minimum 1 years’ experience
3. Display a high level of customer service
4. Knowledge of local area
5. Brilliant levels of communication written or verbal
6. Experience of working in loading and unloading vehicles
7. Experience working in a workshop environment

Main duties will be:

1. To carry out loaded brake tests to VOSA standards
2. To carry out collection and delivery of customers vehicles as and when required.
3. Loading and unloading vehicles
4. Organising/Maintain truck parking adhering to Health and Safety
5. To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
